Jakob Lotta (b. 1999, (czecho)Slovakia) is a naive fag brought up by hags who works in painting, film, music, printmaking, publishing, installation, appropriation and anthologizing. His practice centres on the anti-ageist potential of fag/hag relationships — close bonds between gay men and older women — using this dynamic as a lens through which domestic and decorative objects appear as both conservative inheritances and material for reinvention.Lotta lives and works in the Netherlands.
