Jakob Lotta is an artist; creating, writing, publishing, producing, directing, composing, singing, co-creating, curating and sleeping around, only to explore the latent potential of an age-ambiguous art practice.Born in (Czecho)Slovakia and based in the Netherlands, Jakob’s life is defined by exile, faggotry, and intergenerational tensions. He constructs unfinished studies that sustain open-ended hopefulness by bridging the spiritual with the pragmatic, the political with the emotional and the ornamental with the academic.
