Jakob Lotta is an artist; creating and co-creating, writing and publishing, producing and directing, composing and singing, playing and sleeping around, only to explore the latent potential of an age-ambiguous art practice.Born in (Czecho)Slovakia and based in the Netherlands, Jakob’s art is defined by the exile of faggotry, and intergenerational tensions stemming from his close relationships with mature feminine caretakers. He constructs attractive multimedia studies into society’s ageist attitudes by bridging the spiritual with the pragmatic, the political with the emotional and the ornamental with the academic.
